| In
1975, 19-year-old Randy Wanta faced a tough decision following
the death of his father, Joe. The last of four sons to
remain in the family rural construction business - his three
older brothers having left one-by-one to form their own
construction companies - he had to choose between continuing
the family business or seeking a career opportunity elsewhere.
The
construction company won out, and in the ensuing 26 years
under the ownership of this 46 year-old rural builder, the
company has expanded from primarily a dairy barn contractor to
a post and metal-frame builder constructing everything from
farm buildings to commercial turnkey facilities.
Randy
grew up around the construction trade. He, and his three
brothers helped their dad Joe with his rural construction
business. Under Randy's direction, the company has seen the
annual sales grow steadily and become about twenty-five times
that of what it was in 1975.
Over
the past twenty-six years, Randy has served on several boards
including:
- Wisconsin
Frame Builders Board of Directors.
- National
Frame Builders Board of Directors.
- Star
Building Systems Presidents Advisory Council.
